• The property exceeded all of our expectations! What a great area to enjoy everything summer on a lake has to offer. The property was very well mainatined and conveniently located within walking distance of a great restaurant. We rented the pontoon boat and it was well worth the money! We have already reserved our week for the 2011 season.

• Your home was very spacious and warm. We loved the deck for just hanging out and enjoying the outdoors. Well equipped kitchen with everything you need and more! We had a fishing trip with four guys and we thought it was awesome. Four guys, each had their own room and lots of room to roam. Nice living room and nice downstairs game room. • Regarding our summer stay at Pinehaven Retreat: We love - the location (i.e., walking distance to the King's Table, Freckled Frog, and the coffee place), - the size of the cottage and dock (we didn't feel crowded no matter how many boats we brought), - the washer and dryer on site, - the addition of the larger deck, - the gas grill, - new living room furniture, -TVs with good reception and VCR, - the extra bathroom space, - the new bedrooms/layout of the lower level. - it was close enough to home - but not too close. I guess the only suggestion we would make would be to replace the mattresses in the first floor bedrooms (they are really uncomfortable). We're already getting excited about coming back to Pinehaven Retreat in 2011.

• The house was great, fit our family of 11, loved the basement which was filled with toys and games! The pontoon boat was great too! Overall we had a wonderful time!! Appreciated the dishwasher, air conditioning, large home, large yard and the location!!!

• The children grow up going Up Nprth to the cottge-it was time to return. Waupaca was a great choice. Close for those driving from Chicgo and Milwaukee with an airport in appleton for the California gang. We were met when we arrive (No wating around) and walked through everything. As we walked through the house we noted the large gathering areas upstairs and down, it had the immediate feeling that we were UpNorth (as they say) and home. The views were those we remembered from our younger days, pine trees and blue water. For my husband,myself, 6 adult children and 5 grandchildren ages 3 through 9 it was perfect. The porch had plenty of room to sit out as we grilled or gathered(in fact it lead to a family roast(friendly of course) as we all had time together to rememer the stories that made our family's life. We immediately set up games on the spacious backyard, got out the toys for the children and made ourselves to home.The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to feed our gang of 13. The next rush was for the water;yes we fished right off the dock and caught fish-even the littlest grandchildren.My daughter and niece made to the paddle boat first and were off for a paddle and swin.Our son-in-law was busy gathering the gang for the pontoon boat ride around the chain. We loved crusing around the chain-of-lakes,sometime we found a spot and went swimming. Evenings found us out by the campfire roasting marshmellows and reminiscing again.We could walk next door for food,ice cream and music or a little futher for coffe or another restuarant. If we hopped in the cars,mini-golf,water ski show or shopping we right there. We even watched a tractor-pull at a local corn fest.

• we love everyting about this rental especially location. it is within walking distance of many places which make it easy to pick up ice and things needed. The only drawback would be the waterfront. It is hard to dock our boats there because it is very shallow and the bottom is mucky.We have to unload the boat and push it out from the dock to be able to board.

• We liked the location, and the house was perfect for us and our grandchildren. Nice yard for the kids to play in and we loved cruising the lakes on the pontoon boat. Now I'm going to mention some things that we feel would help to make anyones stay better. We thought the bedding had seen better days. Mattresses, sheets etc. need to be upgraded. Also we are in our mid 60's, there was no ladder on the pontoon boat to get back in the boat after stopping to swim/wade at some of the islands which is the fun part about being on the chain o lakes. Made things very difficult for older adults. Other then that we loved the place and would rent again if the above mentioned improvements happened.
